The Billings Mustangs powered past the Madison Muskies, 11-6, at The Corral. Larry Kennedy was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2, to lead the charge. Ricky Maldonado, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 4.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Yes, it was a win for Billings; but their 16-32 record is still nothing to boast about.

Billings needed the clutch hitting of Mark Greenwood to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Mustangs on top, 8-6. For the game, Greenwood had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
