Russell 3-for-4, Leads Swallowtails to Win
Justin Russell was a major factor in the 8-2 State College win over Albany. The Swallowtails left fielder was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. State College starter Luis Acevedo was credited with the win after throwing 108 pitches over 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-2. State College is in last place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division with a record of 15-30.

In the top of the third, Russell had a 2-run home run for State College. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Swallowtails on top, 2-0.

"I know we have our doubters," said Albany manager Garry Rabenek. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
