Starting pitcher Chris Haines took care of business, helping the Calgary Cowboys stifle the Fairfield Flash, 7-2. Calgary currently is in first place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division at 31-22.

Calgary used the hitting of Mark Edwards to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cowboys on top, 6-2. For the game, Edwards had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
