Toreros Send Montreal Home with 7-5 Loss
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros locked up a win at Field de Los Layendas, knocking off the Montreal Mounties, 7-5. On the mound for Cabo San Lucas was right-hander Justin Dietrich. He played a major role in the triumph. Picking up his 6th save was 24-year old left-handed pitcher Victor Gonzalez. With the win, Cabo San Lucas improves its record to 10-12.

Tim Alessio, who is tied for 6th in the RCL in bases on balls with 13, came through for Cabo San Lucas with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The center fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Alessio said after the game.
