Raiders Win, 8-0, as Bousquet Mystifies Cozumel
The Cozumel Beaches were almost helpless in their 8-0 loss to the Reno Raiders and hurler Gilles Bousquet. Bousquet kept the Beaches confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout.

"Tip your hat to Bousquet," Cozumel manager Masato Takagi said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."

The 27-year-old right-hander had 2 walks and 10 strikeouts in a strong performance.

"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Bousquet said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."

This year, Bousquet has no saves in no relief appearances with a 3-4 record and 4.45 ERA.
