A 4-RBI performance from Nick Frenz, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA in total bases with 102, helped the Fairfield Flash beat the Minneapolis Freeze, 11-7. Kader Teroitich, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. The first-place Flash lifted their record to 35-10.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Ashenafi Njiru was at the plate when Fairfield scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Flash to go in front, 6-5.

"We put it together and came out with the win," Frenz said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
