The Calgary Hitmen beat the Calgary Kodiaks, 6-4, at Foothills Stadium. Devon Bagley starred for Calgary. He went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI. Calgary reliever Kevin Gaydos picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Clay Clermont was saddled with the loss. Eric Lewis was called on to finish, recording his 9th save.

Bagley had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Clay Clermont, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Hitmen a 6-4 lead. It was the 10th double of the year for Bagley.

"We're trying to go out there and win games," Bagley told the Calgary Daily News, "and we played pretty well tonight."

The Hitmen improved to 24-19.
