The rain came, as predicted, but the Madison Muskies and Albuquerque Cacti were able to complete their ballgame.

Behind the bravura of shortstop Jeremy Huggins, the Madison Muskies topped the Albuquerque Cacti by the score of 7-5. Huggins was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Muskies. The Muskies win now puts them at 21-22.

Huggins had a game-changing triple in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 sinker from Corey Moore, he banged a 2-run triple to right-center, giving the Muskies a 6-5 lead. It was the 2nd triple of the year for Huggins.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Huggins said in reaction to the win.
