Anchorage Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Anchorage right fielder Rick Chapman was instrumental in helping the Moose triumph, 6-5, over the Astoria Argonauts. Chapman went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. Anchorage's record now stands at 19-25, placing them 6th in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.

Dave Birch played the role of hero for Anchorage. In the bottom of the ninth, he launched a 2-run home run off Brandon Anderson to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Anchorage manager Ken Merrick.
