Not everyone stuck through the 36-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

Getting an impressive start from Dan Boulter, Peoria beat State College by the score of 4-2. The Caterpillars lead the TML AAA Cito Gaston League by 3 games.

Peoria got a clutch hit from Blake Armentrout. The second baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

Peoria manager Scott Andrews called it "a good, solid win."
