The Cabo San Lucas Toreros beat the San Francisco Earthquakes, 7-2, at Golden Gate Park. Cabo San Lucas third baseman Rick Castaneda, who finished 3rd in the TML in triples with 8 in 2057, collected 1 single and 1 double with 3 runs batted in. Cabo San Lucas is now 6-12.

Castaneda contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Cabo San Lucas in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Castaneda took a changeup from Alexis Ochoa and stroked the double to left. His 1st double of the season allowed the Toreros to leap in front, 4-2.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Cabo San Lucas skipper Bob Alexander.
