The Indianapolis Ambition overcame a good performance by Albany first baseman Alan Kerfoot to knock off Albany, 14-13, in 10 innings at Capital Grounds. Kerfoot went 2 for 6 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Caleb Broussard was called on to finish, recording his 5th save. Indianapolis is now 20-22.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Jimmy Cox came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Albany pitcher John Vickery, he hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Indianapolis on top, 14-13.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Indianapolis manager Zi-jun Gou.
