Wind Rally For Late Win Over Swallowtails
Good production from center fielder Riley Andrus helped the Waimea Wind topple the State College Swallowtails, 5-3. Andrus was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Wind. The loss makes State College 21-21.

Andrus had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Alex Estrada, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Wind a 5-3 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Andrus.

Waimea manager Orlando González was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
