Carter Hits 2 home runs in Earthquakes Win
Freddie Carter led San Francisco to a win over Hawaii. The final score was 6-4. The right fielder collected 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. San Francisco reliever Junior Baxter picked up the win. Chris Sweeney, who leads the TML in innings pitched with 38.2, took the loss for Hawaii. Ethan Howell earned the save for San Francisco, his 5th.

Carter had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Karl Molnar, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Earthquakes a 6-4 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Carter.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Carter.

For the Honu, the loss makes them 8-13.
