Puente Excels in 6-4 Quebec Win
Spirited fans greeted the Chicago Eclipse for their clash with the Quebec Armada.

The Quebec Armada defeated the Chicago Eclipse, 6-4, in part because of shortstop Fernando Puente. Puente went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Armada. The win was credited to Andrew Stith in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Brendan Tucker took the loss.

Early in the game, Puente had a 3-run home run for Quebec. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Armada on top, 3-0.

Quebec manager Ramu Pavi was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.

Chicago, with the loss, is 0-2.
