Meyer Steers Baton Rouge Past Firebirds, 3-2

The Baton Rouge Outlaws knocked off the Albany Firebirds, 3-2, in RCL AAA action at Capital Grounds. Baton Rouge pitcher and Ft. Worth, Texas, native Matt Meyer had an outstanding performance. Baton Rouge is now 25-15, Albany 22-18.
Meyer, who was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, threw 93 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing no runs.
"Nice, tidy little win," Meyer said after the game.
