The Death Star was rocking after an exciting Death Stars win today.
The Detroit Death Stars scored a 5-4 win versus the Forest Acres Falcons at The Death Star. Detroit pitcher Harvey Hernandez nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Detroit is now 23-21, Forest Acres 24-21.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Detroit trailing 4-3, Elijah Jay hit a curveball from George Thomas to left-center for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Death Stars had a walk-off win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Jay told the Detroit Daily News.
