Jake Tovrea left his imprint on the 6-3 Fort Worth win against the Memphis Privateers. Tovrea went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win was credited to 27-year old right-handed pitcher Brian McLean in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Kirk Hunt took the loss. The Cats go to 17-27 with the win.

Tovrea had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 changeup from Geoff Dwyer, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Cats a 6-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Tovrea.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Tovrea.
