Indianapolis got a terrific game from designated hitter Nick Schroeder. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Fairfield, 6-4. Schroeder went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Now 31-8, the Flash have won 12 in a row.

The Ambition had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Flash going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old first baseman Mike Chevallier came to the plate. Chevallier hit a solo home run on a 1-2 fastball from Indianapolis hurler Leo Kirk. It was Chevallier's 6th home run of the year.

"I wouldn't want to be playing us right now," said Fairfield manager Edward Batkin.
