The Albany Firebirds, despite a fine performance by Anchorage pitcher Jarrett Allen, grabbed a 3-2 win at Capital Grounds. Allen allowed 1 run over 6 innings. This loss makes it 6 in a row for Anchorage.

Dan McCaffery was the walk-off hero for Albany. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Firebirds left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
