Bison Need Extra Frames to Get Past Honu
The Bighorn Bison defeated the Hawaii Honu, 9-4, in 11 innings. Cody Ley, who is tied for 8th in the RCL with a .381 batting average, played a big role. Ley went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Bison in the win. With the win, Bighorn improves its record to 7-12.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Ley delivered big-time for Bighorn, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Nate Yelinek. The game-changing hit put the Bison on top, 6-4.

In postgame comments, Ley said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
