Luis Farinas had a good game, but he could not keep the Thunder Bay Black Bears from falling, 8-5, to the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. The Thunder Bay center fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Jeremy Parker went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 3 hits. The left-hander struck out 2 and walked 5. With the win, he ups his record to 4-2 this season. Arthur Alderdice earned the save, his 1st.

First Baseman Robby Helt made an impact for Pasadena, when he swatted a 2-run double off Josh McCloud in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Helt went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
