Miyares Stars in 14-4 Bison Win
The Buffalo Bison captured an easy win, 14-4, over the Jacksonville Pilots at Arnold Field. Edwin Miyares led the offensive barrage, going 3-for-5 for Buffalo. Buffalo reliever Caleb Whitson picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Antonio Rodriguez was tagged with the loss. The loss makes the Pilots 7-11.

Matt DeCanio had a big 3-run home run for the Bison in the top of the first inning. With Buffalo leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a curveball from Antonio Rodriguez, who finished 4th in the TML in innings pitched with 239.0 in 2058, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Bison on top, 5-0.

"I like the makeup of this team," said Bison manager Jon Green.
