Beaches Make It 4 In a Row with 7-6 Triumph Over Calgary
Cozumel and Calgary put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Cozumel Beaches topped the Calgary Hitmen, 7-6, with youngster Antonio Paiz playing a key role. Paiz was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Beaches in the win. Pete Findling wrapped it up, recording his 5th save.

In the bottom of the 5th, Cozumel took the lead on a 2-run single by Shuhei Uchida. At the time, the Beaches were trailing 6-5, but Uchida's hit with two outs against Calgary pitcher Greg Young put them in front, 7-6.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Paiz, "one at-bat at a time."

The Beaches, now 16-25, have won 4 in a row.
