Marshals Knock Off Argonauts at The Corral
San Jose starter Tino Gonzalez had a strong outing against the Astoria Argonauts at The Corral. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-1 win. San Jose is now 25-15, 3½ games up in the TMLAAA Cito Gaston League.

Fernando Vigil had a big 2-run double for the Marshals in the bottom of the first inning. With San Jose leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a knuckleball from Guillermo Castorena and stroked the double to right. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marshals ahead, 3-0.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Vigil. "But I like how we're playing right now."
