Raiders Drop Another One
The Candiac Redbirds got a strong performance from pitcher Gene Legrow, who stymied the Reno offense en route to a 7-2 win at Municipal Stadium. The last-place Raiders have lost 5 consecutive games.

Early in the game, first baseman Ryan Kozin had a 2-run single for Candiac. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Redbirds on top, 2-0.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Kozin told the Candiac Daily.
