The Calgary Hitmen picked up a win at Mckinley Park, topping the Fort Worth Cats, 5-3. On the mound for Calgary was right-hander Alex Boulware. He played a principal role in the triumph. Boulware, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA with a 1.07 WHIP, went the distance for Calgary. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. With this game in the books, Calgary is 20-16, Fort Worth 15-20.

Calgary got a clutch hit from Josh Brummett. The center fielder launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
