Dahlk Powers Mavericks to 12-5 Win
The El Paso Mavericks beat the Dallas Texans, 12-5, at Metroplex Park. Matt Dahlk, in particular, was impressive. He was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 times. Malik Combs, the winner, is now 2-2. He struck out 5 and walked 1 over 6 innings, while allowing 5 runs on 8 hits. The loss drops the Dallas record to a disappointing 7-14.
