The Minneapolis Freeze beat the Thunder Bay Black Bears, 4-2. Minneapolis pitcher and Oxnard, California, native Devin Gammon led the way. Mike O'Neil was credited with the save for Minneapolis, his 9th of the season. Minneapolis is now 19-14.

Minneapolis took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Todd Edwards hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Freeze.
