Gremlins Fall Short at Dallas, 13-12
The Dallas Texans needed 14 innings to defeat the Houghton Gremlins, 13-12, at Metroplex Park. Dallas center fielder Chris Sawyer had a superb performance. He was 7-8 with a home run, a double, and 5 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Dallas reliever Luis Ozuna picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bobby Gilmore was saddled with the loss. The win leaves Dallas with a record of 10-8.

The Texans got a clutch hit from shortstop Jose Leyba. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Texans.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Leyba.
