Cacti Reel Off Another Win
Ricardo Nieves led Albuquerque to a win over Calgary. The final score was 9-3. Nieves, who is tied for 7th in the RAAA in doubles with 11, collected 2 runs batted in, while going 3 for 4 at the plate. The right fielder also scored 3 times. The winning pitcher was Alex Caballero. He tossed 96 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits. With the victory, the Cacti upped their record to 21-18.

Early in the game, second baseman Jose Gonzalez had a 3-run home run for Albuquerque. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Cacti on top, 3-0.
