Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Reno Raiders and Madison Muskies.

The Reno Raiders beat the Madison Muskies, 7-3, at House of Pain. The Raiders got a fine performance from left fielder Marco Hinojosa, who went 3-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The Raiders now have a record of 19-17.

Early in the game, Hinojosa had a bases-clearing triple for Reno. It was his 5th triple of the season and put the Raiders on top, 3-0.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Reno manager Rod Cirilo.
