The Calgary Cowboys defeated the Pasadena Bumblebees, 8-3, at Cowboys Field. Bill Thal produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Calgary starter Chad Allred was credited with the win after throwing 105 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. Calgary, now 21-9, has gotten their season off to a good start.
