Extra-Inning Win by Wind Over Beaches
Due in part to first baseman Garrett Stebbins, the Waimea Wind chopped down the Cozumel Beaches, 6-3, in 10 innings. Stebbins was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Waimea reliever Daniel Castro picked up the win. Pete Findling took the loss for Cozumel. Aidan MacNevin earned the save, his 1st, for the Wind.

Stebbins had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the sixth, when he hit a sacrifice fly. The Wind went on to win.

"That's what these guys do," said Wind manager Orlando González. "They battle, they fight."

With the win over Cozumel, the Wind improved to 16-18.
