The Minneapolis Freeze got a superb performance from second baseman Julio Lemus. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Reno. The Raiders won the game, 9-6. In spite of the loss, Lemus was named the player of the game. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Kai-ge Ching closed the door for Reno, picking up his 5th save of the year. Reno is last in the TMLAAA Joe Torre Division with a record of 14-19.

Also pitching in for Reno was first baseman Zach Davis, who hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, Davis went 1-4 with a home run and a walk.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Davis.
