Swallowtails Rally to Nose Past Baton Rouge
The State College Swallowtails overcame a good performance by Baton Rouge second baseman Stephen Carrier to knock off Baton Rouge, 7-6, in 11 innings at Coca Cola Stadium. Carrier was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Outlaws fall to 12-15 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2063 season.

David Ballard delivered a big hit for State College. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Swallowtails ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

In postgame comments, Ballard said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
