Parrish Stars in 12-6 Beaches Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Cozumel Beaches and Tallahassee Captains.

No one was more impactful than C.J. Parrish in the 12-6 Cozumel win over Tallahassee. Parrish, who leads the RAAA in bases on balls with 30, was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Tallahassee is 19-12 after the defeat.

Jose Garcia had a big bases-clearing triple for the Beaches in the top of the fifth inning. With Cozumel leading 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Chris Correa, who is tied for 4th in the RAAA in innings pitched with 49.0, and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Beaches ahead, 8-4.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Parrish said.
