Indianapolis had no answer for Peoria Caterpillars hurler Kevin Grisham, who overwhelmed Ambition hitters as the Caterpillars coasted to victory, 7-1. The winner was Grisham. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Henry Henshaw. After losing, Indianapolis is 13-17.

In the top of the sixth, Peoria first baseman Luis Santizo gave his team the lead. With two out and a runner on 1st, Plantain hit his 6th home run of the year. Indianapolis pitcher Henry Henshaw surrendered it. With that, the Caterpillars jumped in front, 2-1.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Santizo. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
