Jake Sandlin batted in 3 runs to lead Albuquerque to a win over Indian Wells. The final score was 4-2. Sandlin chipped in with 1 single and 1 home run. Rickey Turner picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Luis Salcido was tagged with the loss. Albuquerque improves to 18-13 as they look to defend their championship.

With the clubs tied 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth and a runner on 1st, Albuquerque sent Sandlin to the plate. He got a first pitch cutter and hit a walk-off 2-run home run, to put the Cacti on top, 4-2.

After the game, Albuquerque manager Matt Wells applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
