Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Raiders
The Reno Raiders gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Reno Raiders managed to get by the Minneapolis Freeze, 5-4, at House of Pain. Reno pitcher Orlando Cordoba took player of the game honors. The win takes Reno to 13-19.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Kirk Valcourt came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Minneapolis pitcher Pete DeCaprio, he hit a 2-1 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Reno on top, 5-4.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Minneapolis manager Johnny Vallance.
