Norman Goes Deep Twice in 7-6 Freeze Win
Minneapolis beat Calgary at Foothills Stadium, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to left fielder Jason Norman. He went 4-4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The loss makes Calgary 13-12.

Minneapolis used a timely hit from Edwin Timmermans to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Freeze ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Timmermans told reporters after the game: "This one was touch and go, but we were able to put it in the win column."
