Raiders 5-2 Winners Versus Calgary
Reno and Calgary duked it out and the Raiders came out victorious.

The Reno Raiders handed the Calgary Kodiaks a 5-2 defeat at House of Pain. Third Baseman George Tufts starred for Reno. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Gilles Bousquet picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-1 on the season. He struck out 3 and walked 4 in 7 innings, while yielding 2 runs. The save went to Don Townend, his 10th this season.

Marco Hinojosa had a big 2-run double for the Raiders in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Reno leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from former first round draft pick Nazir Nance and swatted a double to left. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Raiders ahead, 5-2.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Tufts.

The Kodiaks drop to 13-16 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2064 season.
