Down Goes Waimea, 7-4, to Memphis
|
A 3-RBI performance from Roberto Dolores helped the Memphis Privateers beat the Waimea Wind, 7-4. Geoff Dwyer picked up the win in relief. Franco Lano took the loss for Waimea. The Wind fall to 13-17 and continue their rocky start to the 2064 season.
Memphis took a 7-4 lead on Raul Arguello's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Arguello hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Waimea pitcher Bryan Cicerchia visibly frustrated.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Privateers manager Bryant Thomas. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
