Astoria Slaps 3-2 Loss on Tallahassee
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Astoria Argonauts and the Tallahassee Captains, 24-year old right-handed pitcher Matt Richards proved to be the difference. The Astoria right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Argonauts win. With the loss, Tallahassee is 11-13.
In the bottom of the fourth, Chris Fellenz delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Astoria shortstop hit a 2-run single, putting the Argonauts in front, 3-2.
"Matt was bobbing and weaving the whole game," said Astoria manager Amin Kinsaka.
