Raiders Rally For 11-6 Win
Due in part to center fielder Troy Tobias, the Reno Raiders chopped down the Peoria Caterpillars, 11-6, in 12 innings. Tobias went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Aaron Price snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Martin Mercier suffered the loss. The loss makes Peoria 8-16.

Reno used the timely hitting of Wallace Hatt to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Raiders on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Tobias. "But we got it done."
