Detroit beat Vancouver in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The Detroit Death Stars defeated the Vancouver Canadians, 7-3, in TMLAAA action at The Death Star, with Detroit pitcher Harvey Hernandez named player of the game. Hernandez, now 2-2, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 3, and allowing 2 earned runs.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the first inning. That's when second baseman Mike Henry reached on an error by the 2B. The Death Stars went on to win.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Henry said.

With the win, Detroit goes to 12-16.
