The Fort Worth Cats stopped the Memphis Privateers, 7-2, at Privateers Grounds. The Cats got a big game from Matt Mulholland, who went 1 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win belonged to Danny Iraheta in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Kiyonobu Yamasaki Jr. took the loss for Memphis. Memphis falls to 11-17.
Early in the game, Mulholland had a 3-run home run for Fort Worth. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Cats on top, 3-0.
