The Vancouver Pioneers went down to defeat to Tim Northup and his Milwaukee teammates. The final score was 5-2, in favor of the Millers. Steve Herring recorded his 3rd save for Milwaukee. The Millers, now 5-11, have not found much traction so far in 2062.

The Millers got a big at-bat from left fielder Lenny Dickens. For the game, Dickens was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Milwaukee a 2-0 lead.
