Minneapolis starter Felix Martinez put a stranglehold on the Bowling Green offense. The right-hander had complete command of his screwball in leading the Freeze to a 4-1 win. Martinez got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. Martinez allowed no earned runs. Bowling Green, at 5-22, has had a dismal start to the season.
