Black Bears Deal Wind 8-4 Loss
The Thunder Bay Black Bears defeated the Waimea Wind, 8-4, in 10 innings. Kevin McArdle led the way, going 1-for-1 for Thunder Bay. Keith Sill, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Wind, 11-15, continue their poor start to the 2066 campaign.

Thunder Bay used a timely hit from Mike Clark to get the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Black Bears ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said McArdle, "and then get after it again."
