Amarillo used a superb performance from starting pitcher Mark Hartje to down the Calgary Kodiaks, 3-0. Wayne Blanchard closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. The win has Amarillo at 12-11.

Amarillo used a well-timed hit by Matt Griffin to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Armadillos ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"Mark was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Amarillo manager Tyler Bulman.
