Mustangs Get One-Run Win at Minneapolis
Billings left fielder Frank Sevilla picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Minneapolis Freeze, 6-5. Dan Fairchild picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 5 earned runs on 8 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 1-3. Kouichi Hayashi sewed up the save, his 1st.

Billings used the timely hitting of Mike Rizzo to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Mustangs on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Sevilla.

Billings is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 9th in 23 games.
