Raiders Earn Win with Late Rally
Fans watched the Reno Raiders and the Tallahassee Captains fight to the finish.

Tallahassee wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Martin Andrade, falling to the Reno Raiders, 3-2. Andrade threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The win went to Scott Bertram in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Juan Ibarra took the loss.

Fernando Puente helped out the Reno cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We busted our tails," said Tallahassee manager Luis Sánchez. "But we came up short."

Reno is now 15-5.
